Alana Evette Tsipris
Director of Nursing and Healthcare Services
The war on addiction is not one without casualties. As Alana watched her lifelong friends began to suffer and die from heroin addiction, she realized that it was time to take action. Having become a nurse in 2010, Alana left a nursing position at American United Health Care and went to work at a rehab center in Malibu where she quickly began to make a difference.
Clients immediately responded to her warm and affable nature, and it wasn’t long before she found herself in a leadership position with the prestigious facility, Pacific Coast Detox. As her reputation in the treatment community garnered more and more positive attention, Alana struggled to find purpose. “I knew that I was helping people”, she explains, “but the people in my community were still overdosing and I didn't feel as though I were really making a difference. I needed to do more.”
She found that purpose here at Detox Concierge, bringing a fresh perspective on client care with her. She has taken the already-high standards from the Pacific Coast treatment facility and augmented it with the guarantee that you and your loved ones get the tools you need to win your own battles against the disease of addiction. “This is my way of making sure that no one has to go through the pain and loss that I’ve gone through”, Alana adds. “It’s my small way of making a big difference”.
